The 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand kicks off with the opening ceremony at the Rajamangala National Stadium, 9th December night.

Brunei Darussalam participates in 9 sports event namely polo, taekwondo, aquatics, sepak takraw, karate, netball, wushu, pencak silat and weighlifting. The 33rd Southeast Asian Games will run until the 20th of december.
